The machine as life model; where is slow in today’s society?

Ready made is impossible; in the name of productivity what have we gained or lost?

Is the value of the artistic outcome quantifiable in the length of its process?

In response to these questions I created an ever reflecting image of a pair of pears. One organic and the other not. Each mirror is mounted on ball and socket hinges so all perspectives can be reached. Exhibited as part of ‘Slow‘ in Islington, London.
