Synnøve’s work embraces art and design.

Trained as a product designer at Central Saint Martins, she went on to work with international organisations such as UNICEF and the Red Cross through her work at The Hub. She has since designed and hosted the building of a variety of community gardens and spaces around the UK and continues to inspire conversations through her installations.

Stimulating people to discuss their interactions with their ‘natural’ surroundings, her work frequently references food as a way to embody and experience the world around us. She has collaborated with scientists, philosophers, lute makers and gardeners to produce objects, events and instillations.

Her work has been shown internationally in the context of both design and the culinary world, including London and Tokyo design week, The Museum of Modern Art in New York (MOMA) and Abergavenny Food Festival.

She is one of the founders of the rural collective, Limina, exploring creative events, conversations and design processes. She lives and works in London and is based at the 115 Workplace Co-operative in Kentish Town.
